It’s been one heck of a Summer- tons of beach time on the North Shore, got acquainted with the South(North Carolina-Duck Beach, West Virginia-Appalachian Mountains), tons of “get togethers” :weddings, birthdays, Wellesley, clubs, beach houses. My favorite thing about these events, besides participating in them, are the quotes they generated. Below are some of my faves uttered by some of the most hilarious people I have ever met. Names have been removed to protect the ridiculous.
“Herpes Free, since 1986!” -Said in response to the claim that everyone has some form of the Herpes virus.
“Well, I think you just described Jesus” -Said in response to my list of qualities in my ideal mate…Hey, she asked for the ideal, and I delivered.
“She’ll marry more money in a day than she’ll make in a life time.” -One man’s observation.
“But I admire your poppin’ bottles and dippin’
Just as much as you admire bartending and strippin’”- Lil Wayne, “How To Love.” Totally thought this song was about me, until Weezey uttered this phrase. It really is in the details, isn’t it?
